Tracy Lefroy is the dynamic Shire President of Moora, Western Australia. With extensive experience in leadership, advocacy, and policy within agriculture and rural communities. Tracy is known for her strategic vision and proactive community engagement, has led significant initiatives in housing, early childhood health, and renewable energy, making a lasting impact on her community. Tracy is also a Non-Executive Director at InterGrain, chairs the GIWA Wheat Council and sits on the GrainGrowers National Policy Group
Rebecca Maccario, Manager Strategic and Organisational Development at the City of Joondalup has driven change in the City’s strategic direction, demonstrating high integrity and ethics. As an advocate for women, Rebecca has successfully led initiatives to support women in their career progression. Rebecca is a recognised high achiever in the local government sector, presenting at local and international environmental conferences and is highly sought after by other local governments to provide advice across several disciplines.
Nicole O'Neill is currently the Director of Community Experience at the Shire of East Pilbara. With a Masters in Urban and Regional Planning from the University of WA, a Bachelor of Communications, Graduate Diploma of Education, Diplomas in Project Management, Community Development and Public Relations. With close to two decades experience leading teams Nicole is a community advocate, working with Council to assist stakeholders to understand the role of Local Government, statutory requirements, strategic implications and opportunities for collaboration and partnership.
Rosemarie brings extensive international experience in education, health, social justice, leadership, and business. Her diverse background has equipped her with the skills necessary to serve as an effective community representative. She is passionate about advocating for Indigenous rights, action on climate change, community well-being, and the education of young people. Her belief in strengthening democratic institutions and social cohesion drives her commitment to local government. Rosemarie enjoys spending time with her family.
Amberley Bradley excels as a Community Development practitioner with the City of Kalamunda, where she leverages her role to forge robust local partnerships and empower community members and organisations through capacity building. Known for her innovative approach, she fosters creativity and critical thinking to pioneer new programs and inspire innovation within her team, contributing significantly to a vibrant and resilient community.
Filomena Piffaretti began her career in local government in 2017, elected as a City of Bayswater Councillor, representing the North Ward. Filomena was elected Deputy Mayor in 2019 before becoming the City’s first female Mayor in 2021 and the City’s first popularly elected Mayor in 2023. Filomena is committed to serving the community and Council honestly and with integrity. Filomena was elected unanimously as the first female Chair of the Eastern Metropolitan Regional Council.
Nadine brings over 23 years of experience in Local and State government, with a dedicated focus on community development and engagement. She is passionate about educating and supporting families and youth and is devoted to coaching and mentoring staff. As a proud mother of two daughters, Nadine is committed to raising strong, confident females and sharing her wealth of experience to inspire others.
Amanda Widjaja is Manager of Asset Maintenance at the City of Kalamunda and has more than 7 years in Local Government. During the 7 years, Amanda has combined her Engineering and Leadership skills to lead teams in Construction, Infrastructure Maintenance, Facilities Maintenance, Fleet Management and Waste Services areas. With a strong background in management of both indoor and outdoor staff, Amanda thrives by bringing diverse groups together to build high performing cross functional teams.
